Elective (Extra-Curricular) Programme

One of the unique aspects of Thurstable is the extensive enrichment students we offer to all students through our Elective Curriculum. There are over 50 sessions offered after school every week in addition to the many lunchtime clubs that run as well. 


 All members of the teaching staff contribute to this programme which means that every Monday to Thursday after school. These are optional opportunities run by the staff to provide opportunities for students to both build their knowledge and grow their character. Examples of some of the clubs and societies that run are: Dungeons and Dragons Club,  Debating Society, Cheerleading, Creative Writing Club. Forensic Science, STEM Club, Football Fanatics,  Fashion Club and many more plus all of the Sports Clubs run by the PE department and other staff.
